Ride Safely with Us
Your Journey, Our Rules
Welcome to OnTime Taxi, your ride through India’s vibrant cities! These terms outline how we roll to ensure your trips are smooth and fun. By booking a ride with us, you agree to follow these guidelines. They’re designed to keep things fair, safe, and enjoyable for everyone, whether you’re cruising through Mumbai’s streets or exploring Jaipur’s forts. We may update these terms to keep up with India’s dynamic vibe.
Booking a Ride
Booking with OnTime is your ticket to hassle-free travel. Use our app or website to schedule your ride, providing accurate pickup and drop-off details. You’ll need to be at least 18 or have guardian consent to book. Double-check your details—wrong info might lead to delays or cancellations. We aim to match you with a driver quickly, but availability depends on location and demand. If you’re heading to a festival in Delhi or a beach in Goa, we’ve got you covered, as long as you book responsibly.
Pricing and Payments
Rides with OnTime are priced to keep your wallet happy. Fares are based on distance, time, and ride type (economy, premium, or group). You’ll see an estimate before booking, but traffic or route changes may adjust the final cost. Payments are handled securely via our app or cash, as available in your city. No haggling with drivers—our prices are transparent. If a ride to Bangalore’s tech hubs costs more due to peak hours, we’ll let you know upfront. Pay promptly to keep the vibe smooth.
Cancellations and Refunds
Plans change, and we get it. Cancel your ride through the app before the driver arrives, and you won’t be charged. If you cancel after the driver’s en route, a small fee may apply to cover their effort. No-shows might also incur a charge. Refunds for issues like ride disruptions are processed within 7–10 business days, subject to review. If your trip to Varanasi’s ghats gets canceled due to weather, reach out to us at ontimetaxi@gmail.com, and we’ll sort it out fairly.
Rider Responsibilities
You’re the heart of every OnTime journey, so let’s keep it respectful. Treat drivers and vehicles with care—no damaging property or disruptive behavior. Follow local laws, like wearing seatbelts, and avoid carrying prohibited items (e.g., weapons or illegal substances). If you’re riding with friends to a Hyderabad biryani spot, ensure everyone’s on board with these rules. We reserve the right to refuse service if these terms are violated, keeping the ride safe for all.
Driver and Vehicle Standards
Our drivers are your guides through India’s bustling roads. They’re trained, verified, and committed to getting you there safely. Vehicles are regularly checked for cleanliness and functionality, ensuring a comfy ride whether you’re in Chennai or Amritsar. If a driver or vehicle doesn’t meet your expectations, let us know at ontimetaxi@gmail.com. We’ll address it quickly to maintain the vibrant OnTime experience you deserve, from start to finish.
Limitation of Liability
We strive to make every ride flawless, but sometimes India’s unpredictable roads throw curveballs. OnTime isn’t liable for delays due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events like protests. We’re not responsible for lost items, though we’ll help you track them down if left in our vehicles. For any injuries or damages during a ride, our liability is limited to what Indian law allows. Ride with us to Kolkata’s markets, but know we can’t control every bump along the way.
Dispute Resolution
Got an issue? Let’s sort it out smoothly. Contact our support team at ontimetaxi@gmail.com first—we’re here to help. If we can’t resolve it, disputes will be handled under Indian law, with jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra. We prefer to keep things friendly, like a chai break on a long ride. These terms ensure your journey with OnTime stays as vibrant and stress-free as possible, no matter where you’re headed in India.
